What is Hexyme?

Hexyme® is a mixture of compounds generated by the liquid culture of shiitake mushroom mycelium cells. The main polysaccharide and active component of Hexyme® is “Acetylated a-Glucans” which is responsible for its immunostimulatory activity within the cell.

How does HEXYME work?

• Hexyme suppresses interferon-ß levels that lead to modulation of the cytotoxic cell immunity.
• Hexyme maintains the natural killer cell count.
• Hexyme reduces the severity of neutropenia induced by breast cancer chemotherapy.
